Torghatten Nord has been using Premaster for over ten years, and the entire shipping division of the Torghatten Group is now set to use Premaster
As the largest shipping company, with 50 ferries and express boats, Torghatten Nord has been leading the way for other shipping companies in the Torghatten Group. Torghatten ASA decided to introduce Premaster throughout the Group in 2016. Torghatten used systems from several suppliers before it decided to standardise. The good experiences that Torghatten Nord has had with Premaster over many years, combined with the benefits of standardising on a single system, led Torghatten ASA to choose Premaster for all the shipping companies in the Group.
Fosen Namsos Sjø AS is the latest shipping company to implement Premaster. Premas converted 22 ships from the old system alongside the clearing and clean-up of the databases and the commissioning of new functions for fleet management. All the companies in the Group, which has a fleet of around 110 vessels, have now started using Premaster as their ship management system

Quest Shipping’s decision to opt for Premaster says something about both the type of shipping company and its geographic distribution.
The Research Fishing Company’s search for a new vessel management system for its newbuild led the company to choose Premas because Premaster Go had the simplicity it was looking for.
Royal Greenland has been using Premaster for many years. The fishing company has now ordered Premaster for its newbuilds and will eventually use Premaster on six vessels with provision for communicating with the head office in Nuuk.
Since the first version of Premaster was first used on fishing vessels, over 100 vessels have started using the system.
The World is one of many new customers to start using Premaster in 2017.
A new version of Premaster will be released in April, which includes a completely redesigned maintenance module, making the program much more user-friendly. There are also many new features for customers to use.
